  • 1 pound Large Shrimp (raw, peeled, and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (high-quality)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (fresh minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika (adjust based on spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
  • 1 lemon Lemon Wedges (for squeezing over shrimp)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper until they look slightly glossy.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not stack.

Cooking

  • Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, shaking halfway through the cooking time.
  • Just before shrimp are done, open the fryer and sprinkle with grated Parmesan, then return for an additional minute.

Finishing

  • Finish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

To avoid rubbery shrimp, keep cooking times short and maintain high heat. The recipe can be made ahead by refrigerating seasoned shrimp for up to an hour before cooking.
