Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
  • Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  • Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  • Gradually add the flour and cocoa powder, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

Baking

Notes
