Ingredients
  

For the Coleslaw

  • 1 small head green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 small head red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 large carrots, grated

For the Dressing

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro), hot sauce for a kick

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded green and red cabbage and grated carrots.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and sugar until well combined.
  • Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • If desired, add fresh herbs and hot sauce.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

For maximum crunch, dress right before serving or use thicker shreds. Refrigeration is recommended but can be skipped if you're impatient.
