Ingredients
  

Pasta and Vegetables

  • 12 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

Cheese and Herbs

  • 8 ounces mozzarella balls (bocconcini), drained
  • 1 cup fresh basil, chopped or torn

Dressing and Seasonings

  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • balsamic glaze (store-bought or homemade)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  • Drain and rinse with cold water to cool.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, halved cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and chopped basil.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Toss gently to combine and serve cold.

Notes

If preparing ahead of time, store the glaze separately to maintain freshness. This salad can also be enjoyed slightly warm.
