  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup Canned soup is acceptable for this recipe.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Measure the broth instead of eyeballing.
  • 1 package (6 oz) stuffing mix A key component for texture.
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped Helps add freshness.
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped Adds flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder For added seasoning.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional) Adds richness but is not necessary.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, celery, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir in the stuffing mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until heated through and golden on top.
  • If using, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.

Serving

Notes

If the top browns too fast, tent it with foil. Feel free to adjust ingredients based on personal taste.
