Ingredients
  

For the salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Frozen salmon can be used if thawed properly.
  • 3 tablespoons butter Non-negotiable for a rich flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Cook gently to avoid burning.

For the sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream For a rich and creamy sauce.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Brightens the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish Substitutable with green onions.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the salmon fillets to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  • Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Sauce Preparation

  • In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream, salt, pepper, and lemon juice, and stir until well combined.
  • Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it thicken for a few minutes.
  • Add the salmon back into the skillet, coating it with the creamy sauce.

Serving

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with rice, pasta, or veggies.

Notes

If the sauce looks like it’s sulking, a splash more lemon brightens it up; if it splits, whisk and reduce heat. Plate with attention for maximum effect.
