Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu Make sure to press out excess moisture
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch For coating
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce For flavor
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil To help with crispiness
  • to taste salt and pepper To season

Optional Seasonings

  • garlic powder Optional for flavor enhancement
  • paprika Optional for flavor enhancement
  • your favorite spices Feel free to experiment

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into cubes.
  • In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with soy sauce, olive oil, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the tofu cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Once crispy, serve as a snack or add to your favorite dishes.

Notes

For extra golden tofu, spritz with oil but don't drown. Add spices before tossing or sprinkle afterwards for a festive touch. Remember to shake the basket halfway for best results.
