  • 4 slices Swiss or provolone cheese These cheeses melt well.
  • 8 ounces Thinly sliced roast beef
  • 1 cup Beef broth Season with garlic powder and onion powder.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For grilling.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions
 

Grilling the Sandwich

  • Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Place a slice of bread in the skillet and top it generously with cheese and slices of roast beef.
  • Grill until the bread is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.
  • Flipping the sandwich, grill the other side until evenly toasted.

Preparing the Broth

  • While the sandwich cooks, heat the beef broth in a separate pot.
  • Season the broth with garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.

Serving

  • Serve the grilled cheese with a small bowl of the heated broth for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to use sautéed mushrooms for an extra touch of flavor. Best served fresh!
