Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

Cooking Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink (about 2-3 minutes per side).
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  • Toss in the cooked pasta until well coated in the sauce.
  • Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For a budget-friendly option, frozen shrimp is fine (thaw thoroughly). Use real parmesan for the best texture, not powdered. If the sauce seems too thin, let it simmer to thicken, and always taste as you go.
