  • 1 lb Steak (sirloin or flank)
  • 2-3 Bell peppers (assorted colors)
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • for garnish Fresh cilantro Use for garnish
  • optional Sour cream
  • optional Avocado

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Season the steak with garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  • Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest.
  • In the same pan, add sliced bell peppers and onion. Sauté until they are tender.
  • Slice the steak and serve it over a bed of the sautéed veggies.
  • Top with fresh cilantro and optional avocado or sour cream.

Notes

For budget-friendly options, buy a tougher cut of steak and slice it thin. If cilantro is not available, parsley can be used as a substitute.
