  • 4 fillets cod fillets Fresher is better, look for quality.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pieces lemons One sliced for garnish, one juiced for flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Don't skimp on the garlic!
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley Optional, for presentation.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a baking dish, place the cod fillets and drizzle with olive oil and the juice of one lemon.
  • Sprinkle the minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper on top of the fillets.
  • Arrange lemon slices over the fish.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
